We would like to express our love for all of the Mothers in our retirement homes as well as in our community. Thanks for the many years of happiness and support.
How to Change a Wound Dressing
At our BeeHive Homes Residential Retirement Homes we have CNA’s that dress our residents wounds. As people get older their skin gets thinner and even a small bump against a table or chair can cause a rip in the skin. This video shows a simple wound dressing.
Susan Ronson-Patsy Cline Tribute Singer- tours retirement homes
We are so thankful to Susan Ronson for coming to our homes and entertaining our residents. She has an amazing voice and the residents just loved her. She will be perfoming at tuacahn in St. George Sat. May 9th if you would like to enjoy her as well.
A special thanks to the nurses that work so hard for our residents.
This is a special tribute to all nurses. We want to let you know how special you are to us this week and all year long. Our in house nurse Bonnie works very hard to supervise, diagnose and make sure our residents get what they need. There are a number of Home Health and Hospice nurses that come to our retirement homes and give our residents the special attention that they need. Thank you so much for your time and understanding with our special residents.
National Nurses Week
BeeHive Homes residential living would love to thank all of the nurses who come to our facilities to help our residents. We couldn’t do our job without your help. As age catches up with us, we find we need a little more help. If you are looking for a retirement home with CNA and nursing help please come and visit one of our homes in St. George or Hurricane Utah. Please remember to thank a nurse this week.
What are Diabetic Shoes?
Is it important to have diabetic shoes? This video explains why diabetic shoes are very different from regular shoes. It is important to have the right shoes when you are diabetic. At BeeHive Homes of Washington Co. we have the podiatrist come in on a regular basis and they make sure our diabetic residents have a new pair of diabetic shoes each year. If you have family members in assisted living centers, make sure they are getting seen by the podiatrist in the facility or take them to an outside source.
Is it time to find a residential living center for your family member?
If your family member is starting to need a little extra attention, help with meals, or in need of a senior care company, this video will give you some good things to look for. Sometimes it can be an extremely daunting process for you and your family member to think about needing help and also the possibility of having to move out of the comfort of their own home. This is why we try to make this experience as relaxing and easy as it can be so that the transition across to senior care is as comfortable as possible for the resident and for you. We can give you a tour of some of your local assisted living centers, retirement homes, or senior care facilities. There is a wide choice of places for your elderly relative to receive care from senior care providers, whether that be in a care home or via assisted living. At BeeHive Homes, we encourage anyone who is interested in extra care for their family or friends to stop by any of our facilities in St. George or Hurricane and we will be happy to give you a tour and answer any questions you may have.
If you are apprehensive about sending your loved one to a care home at the moment, you may want to look into at-home care and get the necessary help from a Senior Care Baton Rouge service, or one which is in their location, so they can stay within their own home for the time being and see how they get on with that type of assistance. It is not easy for families to go through something like this but with the right help and care, they can ensure that their family member is safe and well looked after.
Diabetes Foot Care
This is a very informative video about Foot Care for people with diabetes. At our BeeHive senior assisted living centers we have a doctor that comes in every other month to inspect our residents feet and cut their toenails. If the residents have problems before the doctor comes we have him come in especially for them. This is a part of our senior care services we like to provide at BeeHive Homes.
