Q: Do we take smokers?
A: Yes, but smoking is not allowed in the facility. Arrangements can be made to smoke outside, though.
Q: Do we take people who can’t walk?
A: Yes, in a level 1 home, if they can transfer themselves, or, in a level 2 home, if one person can transfer them.
Q: Do we have a nurse on staff?
A: No, but if nursing services are needed, a doctor can order home health to come into the home.
Q: Do we serve diabetic meals?
A: Yes. We can accomodate
Q: Do we allow pets?
A: Maybe. Appropriately sized animals are permitted as long as the resident can manage the pet’s needs independently. The pet must be cleared by a veterinarian and the administrator.
Q: Do we take bed-ridden patients?
A: No.
Q: Do we have an activities program?
A: Yes. Daily activities are offered – catered to the resident’s needs and abilities.
Q: Do we have church activities?
A: Yes
Q: Do we take couples?
A: Yes
Q: Can residents bring their own furniture?
A: Yes. We encourage the familiarity
Q: Do we have cable TV?
A: Yes. Included in monthly rent.
Q: Can residents leave overnight?
A: Yes.
Q: Do we take wheelchair patients?
A: Yes.
Q: Do we take incontinent patients?
A: Yes.
Q: Do we take Alzheimer residents?
A: Yes – as long as they are not a serious wander risk or present a risk of serious harm to themselves or others.
