Level I Assisted Living Facilities are appropriate for those who can still transfer and ambulate without any assistance. Typically Level I residents are able to perform most (but not all) activities of daily living or “ADLs” without assistance but may need 24 hour monitoring. ADLs include such things as medication administration, bathing, dressing, incontinence assistance, meal preparation, housekeeping, laundry, etc. Residents are provided limited assistance with ADLs and social care in a residential setting.
Residents must be ambulatory or mobile, and capable of exiting the facility in an emergency without the assistance of another person and in stable health.
Level I eligibility is determined in an initial assessment completed by our nurse prior to admission.
Beehive Homes has three Level I facilities which are located in Snow Canyon, Coral Canyon and Hurricane.
